FAQ Answers: 1. A collection of free printables is two or more free printables in one folder that has been "zipped" (or "compressed"). This allows you to download all of the free printables at one time. You can personalize free printables! You can use your computer to type in the details for party invitations, create inside sayings for cards, or put any other text your want on the free printable by typing it in, using your computer! Get an easy-to-follow tutorial that uses pictures of actual computer screens to guide you through the steps of opening and personalizing your free printables. You can use either Microsoft Word or Microsoft Paint:
3. Yes! You can insert the free printables you download using any card-making software. Simply insert the printable in the same manner as you would insert one of your own pictures into the blank card. If you have never used card-making software, Jan's Reading Room and Mom's Break suggest Print Shop (Jan prefers version 21, it has just enough bells and whistles to help create fun paper-based cards and crafts, but is very simple to use). This illustrated tutor will guide you through copying either the code for the free printables or the text of free content articles and inserting it into your web page. It is easy to submit an article to Mom's Break Library. Using screen shots of an actual article being submitted to the library, the illustrated instructions gives you step-by-step instructions for completing the article submission page. 7. It is no problem to only print a part of a free printable. You do this by "cropping" (cutting down) the image so that it is only the part of the printable that you want. This is especially helpful for the letters and numbers collections, because you can print only the letters or numbers that you want.
